Charlotte Traynor will take on the role left by Mark Wheeler
One person has stepped forward to fill the vacant seat on Douglas Council's central ward.
Charlotte Traynor will take on the position following an uncontested election in the capital.
The seat was left empty following the resignation of Mark Wheeler at the end of September - he was on the council for six months.
Ms Traynor will join the local authority with immediate effect.
The other councillors representing Central Ward residents are Natalie Byron-Teare and Arwid Hall.
