Century-old family business shuts today
One of the Isle of Man’s best known jewelers will officially close for business today.
Wilkins, which has traded since the late 19th Century, will shut its doors at 5pm - although it will hold a final closing down sale next Friday.
Owner Michael Hyman is retiring from a business which has been in his family for more than 90 years.
It’s based in Strand Street in Douglas.
