Event aims to help school leavers reach higher


There is still a chance to grab a place at an event which will shape the way Isle of Man youngsters are prepared for the world of work.

A second employability conference will be held in April.

The first of its kind, in October 2012, brought together teachers, entrepeneurs and representatives from local firms large and small.

Delegates at the follow-up event on April 2 will hear about progress and developments made since then.

Manx-born blues star Davy Knowles will be the keynote speaker, and career experts will give an insight into what exactly employers are looking for.
