'Once again Heysham port appears to be better stocked than the Island'
An Island retailer says it's had to implement a policy of carrying a 'buffer of stock' due to what it's described as 'ongoing shipping issues'.
EVF took to social media today (30 November) to warn customers fresh bread deliveries have been impacted because freight hasn't arrived.
The company says tomorrow's deliveries will also be impacted due to 'a potential double order arriving'.
In a statement EVF said: "Once again Heysham port appears to be better stocked than the Island as, once again, freight including fresh bread and perishables was left in Heysham.
"This will impact today's fresh bread deliveries to any customers we supply - we have requested Coulstons contact you directly.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused and, once again, this is out with our control."
