Roberts family supporting Willow Foundation this Christmas
The family of a Manx teenager who was diagnosed with cancer on Christmas Eve last year has thanked a charity which provided them with a ‘Special Day’ during a year of turmoil.
Seventeen-year-old Grace Roberts has undergone nine cycles of chemotherapy this year and is now in remission.
Her family have appeared in a Christmas appeal for the Willow Foundation which provided them with the opportunity to create ‘precious memories in the toughest of times’.
The foundation helped mark the end of Grace’s treatment in June with a meet-and-greet with The Killers which saw her sister Katie end up drumming on stage with the band.
