Follows a damning report into the Isle of Man Meat Plant
Having a properly functional meat plant on the Isle of Man is ‘fundamental’ for Manx farmers.
That’s the view of the former president of the Manx National Farmers’ Union following a damning audit of the government owned facility.
Auditors found extensive issues with adherence to legislation, poor data collection as well as ‘fundamentally flawed’ training and sales programmes.
