Farquhar 'seriously ill' after NW200 crash

TT star undergoes surgery in Belfast

TT star Ryan Farquhar remains seriously ill today following a high-speed crash in Northern Ireland yesterday.

Farquhar and Dan Cooper were competing at the NorthWest 200 in the Supertwins race yesterday when they were both injured in the incident.

Cooper was treated at hospital for shoulder injuries and has now been discharged.

Ryan Farquhar was taken by helicopter to Belfast’s Royal Victoria Hospital with chest and pelvic injuries, and is in intensive care after undergoing surgery.
