Filming will continue today (Tuesday) on what’s described as a lavish period drama.
Belle, which is being shot at various locations around the Island over the next three weeks, is Isle of Man Film’s first collaboration with Pinewood Studios.
Earlier this year, the government agreed a deal to plough nearly £50 million of taxpayers’ money into the iconic British studio.
Miranda Richardson and Penelope Wilton are among the cast.
Filming today centres on Peel on the West Quay from the entrance to Fenella Beach and on the Glenfaba Road.
