Several crews called to put out blaze
A fire at the disused Marine Biological Station in Port Erin has been put out.
Fire crews from the south of the Island and Douglas tackled the blaze and Police closed the lower promenade and public footpath above the building.
The building has been unoccupied for a number of years and it's reported nobody was injured in the incident.
Paul Moulton from MTTV spoke to the Chief Fire Officer at the operation Carl Kinvig and asked what they were confronted with on arrival at the scene:-
