Driver not seriously injured
Fire crews were called out in the early hours of this morning (Fri) after a car skidded off the road in snowy conditions and rolled down a steep bank.
The accident happened just before 5am at the Blackboards, Ballasalla and involved just the one vehicle which had rolled around 20 metres down the tree-lined bank and ended up in a field.
Fortunately, the driver wasn't seriously hurt, and was helped to safety by firecrews and checked over by paramedics at the roadside.
The car was then stabilised to await recovery.
