It follows a rise in incidents in the UK
The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service is issuing advice following a rise in incidents involved e-bikes and e-scooters in the UK.
Fire officers are urging those who own the battery-powered devices to ensure they don't overload sockets, don't cover chargers or battery packs while charging and don't attempt to modify the battery.
Owners are also reminded to unplug chargers once charging is complete, follow manufacturer instructions and use approved batters.
More advice can be obtained from the Fire Prevention Department on 647300.
