Crews deal with incidents at Keristal and Cregneash
The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue service is urging the public to avoid fire risks when outdoors after being called to two grass fires last night.
Crews dealt with a small grass fire at Keristal near Port Soderick shortly after 5pm, while officers in the south of the Island attended an incident at Mull Hill in Cregneash just after 8.30pm.
Both fires were quickly brought under control, with crews ensuring both areas were safe after the flames were extinguished.
The fire service says the ground is tinder dry, so is asking people to ensure cigarettes are fully extinguished, remove all rubbish and avoid using disposable barbecues.
