Officers operating in the grounds and building of European House
The Isle of Man Constabulary’s firearms unit is currently 'undertaking necessary training' in Douglas.
Officers have confirmed they are operating in the grounds and building of European House on Peel Road.
Police stress this is just an exercise, and 'is completely unrelated to any other police activity today' (17 June).
It comes as the Isle of Man Constabulary confirmed earlier today that it is supporting a UK-wide operation led by Immigration Compliance.
