Firefighters do 'incredible job'

12th Memorial Walk takes place on April 15

A senior figure in the Island's Fire and Rescue Service is hoping people show their support for its work in a forthcoming charity event.

The 12th Firefighters' Memorial Walk takes place on 15 April to raise funds to assist serving and retired firefighters and their family.

It gets underway from Peel Fire Station and the course is around 32 miles long.

Chief Fire Officer Kevin Groom believes the Grenfell Tower tragedy has shown the world the incredible job they do:
