Investigation underway after St Marks blaze
Investigations are continuing after a bedroom fire in St Marks yesterday (2 June).
Firefighters were called to a ‘well-established’ blaze at a property there at 11.15am.
The internal doors of the property had been closed which meant fire damage was contained to one room and smoke damage throughout the rest of the building was minimised.
