Includes planks paid for by supporters
A volunteer-led effort to bring Queen's Pier in Ramsey back to life has reached a significant milestone.
The first three bays have now been restored marking the completion of the first phase of the project.
Around 150 visitors were welcomed on Sunday (2 May) to admire the finished section which includes individual planks paid for by supporters.
Project manager Stuart McKenzie says donations will drive how quickly they can finish the remaining stretch of the pier:
CoMin making 'significant and determined efforts' to implement recommendations from Ranson review
Rain events 'difficult to forecast' on the Isle of Man
Planning permission granted for 26 industrial units
Port St Mary Commissioners urging residents not to 'struggle in silence'
