First race day of TT 2015

Sidecars still on - but Superbike race tomorrow

After a mixed qualifying week at TT 2015, the first race day is finally here.

There are a few adjustments to the schedule, though.

The forecast for today is for gale-force gusts of wind at times, meaning the Superbike race has been put back to 2pm on Sunday.

The first Sidecar race is still due to take place at 2pm today, though.

Untimed practice sessions for the solos are planned for this morning.

The Mountain Road is scheduled to start closing from 9.15am, with the rest of the course shutting at 10am.

The revised race schedule has had a knock-on effect on the paddock walkabout at the Grandstand scheduled for 9 this morning.

It will now take place tomorrow (Sun) morning at 10am.

The Simon Andrews Legacy Lap is being brought forward due to Sunday's road closure and will now take place slightly earlier than originally planned at 10am
