The swordfish curiously swam around the boat after it turned its engines off
A swordfish has been spotted for the first time ever in Manx waters.
The animal is estimated to be around three metres in length, and is listed as Near Threatened on the IUCN Red List.
The swordfish was spotted by the Manx Whale and Dolphin Watch on board a research vessel, 4.7 miles off Niarbyl.
