First stage for tobacco bill in Keys

Questions on the Sefton Group, leadership of the Cabinet Office and promoting the Isle of Man as a country brand will be tabled in the House of Keys this morning (31 March).

There are six questions for spoken answer on today's order paper with another 11 for written reply.

After Question Time, the House will give a first reading to a Public Health amendment bill, containing measures to restrict the sale of tobacco products in the Isle of Man.

Proposals to reform House of Keys elections in the Representation of the People (Amendment) Bill, will be given close scrutiny as it reaches the clauses stage.

The Legislative Council has just one item on its agenda - the first reading of the Audit (Amendment) Bill 2015.

Keys sits at 10am and LegCo at 1030.
