First time buyers pushing to the 'limits' to try and get housing

Mortgage company says it's 'unsustainable'

Some people on the Isle of Man are pushing themselves to the 'limits' trying to get on the property ladder for the first time.

That's the view of the director of Financial Options whose company has the largest team of mortgage advisors on the Isle of Man.

Government has allocated £2 million to support the work of the newly-created Housing and Communities Board.

It's designed to bring together and focus policy and actions, across government, on 'housing for all'.

But Paul Chase says it might not be enough:
