Fishing boat accused bailed

Two Peel men have been bailed after allegedly taking a fishing boat without its owner’s permission.

David Tweedy from Queens Street and Gary Bowie of Fenella Terrace in the town, both 21, appeared in court in front of Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes.

Mr Tweedy is also accused of using a taxi without paying and possessing an offensive weapon.

Both men have been banned from Island pubs, from purchasing alcohol and from drinking alcohol in a public place.

They did not enter pleas and will appear in court again on January the 21st.
