Negotiations in advanced stages
Negotiations are well advanced for the local fishing industry to become caretakers of Manx waters, up to the three mile limit.
That comes as, in the background, Europe wide talks are begining in the wake of the Brexit decision for UK withdrawal from the European Union.
The Island has control over it's seas, up to three miles out.
