DESC rejects recommendation of independent report
The former education minister says she would have supported a recommendation to close eight Manx primary schools.
It's after a review into the current funding system for education on the Island said the move could save £3.6 million.
The Department of Education, Sport and Culture says it does not support that recommendation.
