Airline agrees in principle to £5.7 billion takeover bid
The former head of Manx Airlines says the likely takeover of easyJet by an American company could spell problems for the Isle of Man.
Terry Liddiard says both potential suitors currently in a bidding war for the company are US based financial institutions with no real aviation experience.
EasyJet has accepted an offer of £5.7 billion from Based Apollo Global Management, subject to regulatory approval.
