Kate Beecroft says budget agreed during her time as minister
A former health minister has questioned why it's taken so long to use a budget allocated for ME sufferers on the Island.
South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft has welcomed the news that a dedicated service for those who suffer with the condition will be in place before the end of the financial year.
However, she says a budget for such a service was made available during her tenure as minister, but wasn't acted upon before her sacking from the position.
Mrs Beecroft says she has faith in the current minister in following through on the service - but feels questions should be asked as to what happened to the money which had been set aside earlier:
