DHSC minister 'not concerned' by recent spike
A four-fold increase in the number of people testing positive for Covid-19 on the Isle of Man is not putting pressure on the health service.
That’s the view of the health and social care minister who says he’s comfortable with the current position.
The Island currently has the fastest growing rate of Coronavirus cases in the British Isles and an R-number of 4.67.
But Lawrie Hooper says he's not overly concerned:
The minster also confirmed a decision on how to charge for lateral flow tests, from next month, will be made in the ‘near future’.
