Four more Covid-19 related deaths confirmed

64 fatalities from the virus since start of pandemic

Four more Covid-19 related deaths have been confirmed on the Isle of Man.

The statistics were revealed in the latest weekly surveillance report from Public Health today (11 November).

It brings the total number of fatalities from the virus on Island, since the start of the pandemic, to 64.

Meanwhile of the five people who were in hospital with the virus, at the time of the snapshot, all were symptomatic.

80 per cent of those were fully vaccinated.

Public Health adds, in the last seven days, the most confirmed positive cases have been in those aged 15 to 19 - most of which were unvaccinated.

The current seven-day average of confirmed positive cases locally is around 37.
