Five bidding for two seats
Five candidates are bidding for the two available seats in the Manx parliament’s upper chamber on Monday.
Former High Bailiff Michael Moyle, former Rushen commissioner Adrian Tinkler, sitting MHKs Tim Crookall and David Anderson will join Phil Braidwood, who is seeking another term on the Legislative Council.
Monday will be the fourth time MHKs have sat to cast their votes, in an attempt to fill the vacancies.
Speaker of the House of Keys Steve Rodan says there could be another sitting in August if none of the candidates get the 13 votes they need to win.
