Ben-My-Chree currently 'carrying all freight requirements'
Freight services to the Isle of Man are 'continuing to move as normal' despite the Arrow being in dry dock.
The Steam Packet says the Ben-My-Chree is currently 'carrying all freight requirements'.
It adds that no inbound freight shipments were awaiting dispatch in Heysham as of 12pm yesterday (9 August).
In a statement the company added: "Teams on board and ashore are working tirelessly to ensure continuity of freight deliveries to the Island with the Ben-my-Chree operating her scheduled services and accommodating additional freight demand during this period.
"As we approach the Manx Grand Prix period increased passenger numbers will place additional demand on vessel capacity.
"However the company continues to work closely with freight customers to maximise available capacity and maintain the reliable flow of essential goods and supplies to the Island.
"Every effort is being made to ensure essential freight continues to be prioritised and delivered to support Island businesses and consumers.
"The company continues to monitor freight operations closely and would like to thank its freight customers for their understanding during this period."
