Consideration given to possible use for building
The chair of the community group which was bidding to take over the running of Ramsey Post Office says it's time to look to the future.
It was confirmed yesterday that Mannin Retail, the company which had initially been given the contract to run the service from a nearby Spar shop, would now be progressing with the scheme after the alternative plans were ultimately unsuccessful.
Captain Nigel Malpass, who now heads up the Friends of Ramsey Courthouse, says whilst they're very sad their plans didn't come to fruition, they will be looking at the new proposals and considering future use of the courthouse building:
