Local bands play in Syria fundraiser

Charity event with local Mollag Band and The Ballaghs

Musicians are playing a concert to raise funds for the Syrian crisis tomorrow night (Sun).

The Mollag Band and The Ballaghs have given their time for the benefit of revelers looking to pay the £10 entry fee - all of which is donated to 'From Syria With Love'.

FSWL is a zero-management fee organisation - providing food, shelter, jobs, a level of sustainability, and independence to people there.

All of the artwork exhibited on the walls at the event location - Noa Bakehouse - are by Syrian children; as the charity looks to connect them to the arts.

The event is supported by a number of local businesses, and links to talks at local schools and art exhibitions.

Tickets are available for the event - which starts at 7pm - from Noa Bakehouse and Shaktiman in Ramsey.
