Professor Roger Carey died aged 73
A man who made a key contribution to Island life over the last 15 years will be remembered this lunchtime (Friday).
Professor Roger Carey – who has died at the age of 73 – was the first director of the International Business School at the Nunnery and a respected pundit on world politics, particularly international terrorism.
He was also heavily involved in local transport groups.
Long-time friend and colleague Julie Maddrell says he was a very unassuming man.
The funeral of Professor Carey will be held at Douglas Crematorium at quarter past 12 this lunchtime.
