Further social distancing warning from police

Constabulary receives multiple reports of social gatherings

The police have issued a further plea for people to observe the rules in place to try and prevent or at least slow the spread of coronavirus.

They say they've had reports in the last 48 hours of social gatherings taking place and instances of poor social distancing.

Saying that we as an Island community are only as strong as our weakest link the message is; if you've got neighbours, friends, children and parents that you know are failing to adhere to the new rules they need to be told.

Get them to stay indoors or to social distance, otherwise the number of cases we are seeing will continue to rise.
