Garff MHKs ask why Laxey flood report hasn't been published

Quayle says CoMin need to review document first

The government has been urged to immediately publish a report into the flooding which devastated parts of Laxey in October last year.

UK professional services firm ARUP has completed an independent review into the extreme weather event, which forced many villagers out of their flooded homes.

In Tynwald today (21 April) Garff MHKs Daphne Caine and Martyn Perkins asked the chief minister why there had been a delay in its publication.

Howard Quayle says the report will be released when ministers have had time to review it.
