Gas supplier 'understands frustration' caused by bill errors

Customers have reported two payments being taken in one month

Isle of Man Energy insists it understands the 'frustration and worry' customers are facing after errors with bills.

The gas supplier says it's continuing to have issues with its recent billing system changeover, resulting in some customers still not getting correct bills.

Some Manx residents have reported two direct debits being taken in the same month.

In a statement to Manx Radio, Isle of Man Energy says:

"The team at Isle of Man Energy continue to work through the outstanding issues caused by the billing system changeover and we do acknowledge that some of our customers are still not getting correct bills. 

"We absolutely understand the frustration and worry that this may be causing and are working hard to remedy these issues. 

"If additional payments have erroneously been taken, these will of course be rectified. Customers can contact us via our website Contact Isle of Man Energy"
