Five-year project to cost more than £20 million
Work to transform Douglas promenade could start this year, says Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne.
Changes have been made to include extra space on the walkway, raised kerbs to aid blind people and more pedestrian crossings.
The work - which will cost more than £20m - could take up to five years to complete.
Mr Gawne wants to get things started as soon as possible:
More services to be temporarily relocated from Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital
Warning in place for coastal overtopping
Port St Mary father continues to fight for change in drug laws
