Process could take time says advisor
The Island’s GCSE students will begin making decisions about their future today, following results day yesterday.
72.6 per cent managed grades A* to C, the first time the figure has ever topped 70 per cent.
Some will be considering entering the workplace, while many will go on to sixth form to do A-levels, having achieved the necessary grades.
Paul Craine from the Department of Education and Children says that process may take a little while as students talk to their schools:
Major reservoir projects completed on time and on budget
Repair scheme an 'antidote to throwaway culture'
Douglas council seeking sites for future housing development
Yellow alert for heavy rain issued, replacing previous warning
