Glen Vine man to stand trial

Assault accused to appear in court

A Glen Vine man arrested following a street brawl after a family wedding will stand trial this week.

Nathan Kelly of Bollan Drive, admits assault causing actual bodily harm in the early hours of July the 23rd last year.

Kelly head-butted the bride's father, inflicting a cut lip and broken tooth.

However, the 32 year-old denies a separate count of assault on another person.

His trial will be held today (Mon) and on Wednesday at Douglas courthouse.
