Mersey firm to oversee business fund
The government’s announced a UK-based company will oversee its £50 million economic development scheme.
The fund, which will be used by government to help existing businesses as well as attract new companies to the Island, was announced by Economic Development Minister Laurence Skelly last year.
Today, he revealed SPARK Impact, an investment company based in Liverpool, will oversee the fund.
On its website, the firm says its parent company SPARK Ventures manages £150 million of investment funds.
