Gov't publishes 'Back to Health' plan to restore services

DHSC outlines key stages of services resumption

Government has today published its 'Back to Health' document setting out how some Island services can return.

It's been created by the Department of Health and Social Care, and outlines its three main stages.

A number of health services have been suspended during the coronavirus crisis

The phased return of services is "mapped in fortnightly steps" however government adds that many services at Noble's Hospital will be affected by decisions made in UK hospitals.

Services which are planned to come back online in 'stage two' of plans are treatments such as endoscopy, general surgery, urology and some cancer care.
