'Budget pressures" means initiative dropped
The Isle of Man Children's University is to end after running for just three years.
The Department of Education and Children confirmed the news earlier citing ongoing budgetary pressures.
Other extra-curricular initiatives will remain, with all primary schools introducing the Families and Schools Together programme from the next academic year.
Principle Youth Officer Ken Collister says there are fundamental differences between the two services:
Evening sailing to Heysham cancelledĀ
Witness appeal following 'incident' in Douglas
Snowfall later this week not expected to affect Isle of Man
Southampton flights to start this weekend
