Search for promoter done in good faith
A former minister says government shouldn't rule out working with an external TT promoter in the future.
David Cretney MLC yesterday (Thu) gave evidence to a Tynwald committee investigating the deal between the DED and Vision Nine, which collapsed last November.
The inquiry has already heard from senior officials, who blamed the fiasco on a lack of communication and understanding between the company and different government departments.
But Mr Cretney says searching for a promoter in the first place was done in good faith - and hopes it could be considered again:
