
Chief Minister Allan Bell says he wants to re-energize attempts to make savings within government.
It's now two years after it was first announced the scope of government was going to be looked at to find savings, following the VAT bombshell which saw government income cut by a third.
Mr Bell says progress has been made during that time, although not as quickly as he would have liked.
He says he's hoping to introduce more initiatives to put the issue back at the top of the agenda:
