MHK questions government's approach to dispute with Paul Moulton
An MHK says government's decision to send a legal letter to an Isle of Man reporter has backfired and doesn't sit well with the public.
Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Tim Glover, who was a journalist and news editor prior to his election in 2021, has questioned government's approach to its dispute with Isle of Man TV's Paul Moulton.
Mr Moulton revealed earlier this month that he'd received correspondence which he described as a strategic lawsuit against public participation, also known as a SLAPP.
Mr Glover says government hasn't handled the situation well:
Chief Minister Alfred Cannan discussed the matter, alongside Paul Moulton, live on Manx Radio's Perspective.
