Gov't to meet with Ramsey Bakery directors tomorrow

DEFA reviewing food security strategy, CM says

Government will meet with directors of Ramsey Bakery tomorrow (6 April) to discuss the organisation's future.

That's according to Chief Minister Alfred Cannan who says they will have a 'clearer picture' of the situation in the coming days.

Ramsey Bakery announced last weekend it would be closing at the end of the month after 50 years in business.

Mr Cannan says focusing on what impact the closure could have on the wider supply chain is the main focus:
