Commissioners hit out at 'unacceptable' and 'distressing' incident at Arbory Church
Pots and memorial items on graves in Arbory Church yard have been damaged in an act of suspected vandalism.
It's thought to have taken place during TT.
Arbory and Rushen Parish Commissioners say: 'Visiting loved ones in their final resting place is so important to the remaining family and friends of those who have left us. The distress caused by disrespectful damage of this kind in immense. Church yards are supposed to be places of refuge and peace. This is unacceptable.'
The authority has reported the incident to police and church wardens.
