Painted tribute for anniversary
There's a 'Go Green' theme at this year's Manx Heritage Transport Festival, which officially gets underway this Wednesday.
To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the nationalisation of the Manx Electric Railway, two tram cars and a trailer have been repainted green.
This was the colour of the tram cars back in 1957, when the Isle of Man Government brought the railway into public ownership.
One of the enthusiasts involved is Andrew Scarffe:
Manxman sailing cancelled following late arrival into Douglas
Calls for 'transitional protections' for migrants on five-year immigration path
'No decisions have been made' over future of Ballabeg Methodist Church
Manxman's departure to Heysham delayed
