Port Erin using pet friendly fireworks for 2021 show
A Peel man is urging Manx residents to push their local authorities to use pet friendly fireworks around bonfire night after his guide dog was left distressed.
Juan Greggor wrote to the town's commissioners with concerns about the noise and how it was impacting his dog Angel after last year's display.
Port Erin Commissioners are using low noise fireworks for their display next week - it's something Mr Greggor hopes others will consider in future.
He says it's not fair to force loud noises on all residents:
