Climate change among issues appealing to teenagers
The headteacher at one of the Island's secondary schools believes issues such as climate change mean teenagers today are more engaged with politics.
Annette Baker says data from the last general election shows the north of the Island had the highest proportion of young voters.
The pupils recently petitioned the chief minister in a bid to ban single-use plastics in schools, with Ramsey ending its use of plastic bottled water from September.
