Health review invites patient opinions

Focus groups to take part in detailed discussions

Patients are being asked to tell the health service what is and isn't working.

An independent review into spiralling costs in the Department of Health and Social Care is continuing, amid fears the deficit could grow by a quarter in the next five years.

Ministers have insisted 'every aspect' of care funding will be scrutinised.

More than 180 members of the public submitted cost-saving ideas in a public consultation, which closed earlier this month.

Now the DHSC has called for a 'cross section' of residents to take part in focus groups to discuss parts of the review in more detail.

If you would like to take part, email DHSCReview@gov.im or call 650 759.

The review's findings will be published in January next year.
